COAST – New Contemporary Trade Show is a Direct Hit on Miami



The COAST Show premiered in Miami, Florida at the Carlton Hotel, South Beach on January 29-30, 2007 with only 49 women’s contemporary collections. This November 5-6, 2007 show will be the third show of the year and has more then doubled in size with 126 collections and showrooms from across the country.

With Hot Cutting edge collections such as Tracy Reese, Rebecca Taylor, Alvin Valley,
Jessica Elliot, Iodice, Custo Barcelona, Betsey Johnson, French Connection, Otazu, Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent, Laundry by Design and Alisha Levine just to name a few of the many collections. COAST show is also home to leading showrooms such as Seamless Showroom, Jade Showroom, The Green Room NYC, Scatola Sartoriale, Lily Kate Showroom, Four01 Showroom, Blue Concept, Space 33 Showroom, Pure Accessories, Pure Luxe, Mary Brennan & Co., and Apart from the Crowd. Some of the top retailers that have been in attendance are Studio LX, Simply Natural, En Avance, Blue, Karma, IOS, Bolufe, Alchemist, Eye of the Needle, Flirt, Karma, Leo, Tupelo Honey and the list goes on. Cristina of the store Group LX in South Miami commented… “I have definitely seen a significant improvement of lines. Most of the collections that I write are present such as Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent and Iodice. I look forward to browse the collections at this annual event.” According to Coast show President Karen Bennett, “I’m always adding new collections of unique shoes, and accessories to the mix.” Attendance has more then doubled since the first show in January and Ms. Bennett expects an even stronger turn out this November.

The show is being organized by Karen Bennett, who has extensive trade show and fashion experience. Ms. Bennett’s keen fashion sense will ensure that the collections being presented are the best in the market. The shows purpose is to service Florida and the surrounding states. Many retailers are not able to make the trip to New York City several times a year for their buying purposes and COAST has been designed with their needs in mind.
